This coming July (14-15th, 2016), the University of the Basque Country will held, in Vitoria-Gasteiz, a course entitled “New trends on the restoration of degraded soils: technosols and phytoremediation”, organized by Vitoria-Gasteiz City (northern Spain) and its Centre for Environmental Studies-CEA (for more information, please contact the course´s organizer, Juan Vilela: jvilela@vitoria-gasteiz.org). This summer course will include talks from Spanish, French and Portuguese speakers, as well as field trips to present several case-studies. As part of this summer course, Carlos Garbisu will give a talk on the concept of soil health and its assessment through the utilization of Soil Health Cards. You are most welcome to attend!!
